Mistakes

So much darkness around me
Disillusionment, at the real truth
Brothers beating themselves
Into a blackness
The roots are being sliced
The leaves begin to fall
And the wind of time
Carries them into nothingness

Left in the graveyard of torment
At their pondering on the wrong turn
They blame each other
They blame themselves
The real truth is so clear
They walked the path
Without understanding it.

Yet another beautifully written piece which ends with another strong and powerful verse for those who truly know how to ponder on life.
“They walked the path
Without understanding it.”

How many of us follow blindly, how many do not understand life as it is, how many of us are content with the little we have but if we searched would find a vast treasure of wealth.

This verse so much reminds me of those people who mix culture and religion. Of those type of people who worship like robots, who follow a set of rules and never ask why? Who don’t understand the true meaning and depth of what it is to bow down your head to the Creator and say “Glory be to my Lord, the Highest”
If one truly understood these words the ground beneath ones feet and palms would tremble, “Allahu Akber” How great is our Lord but how dumb and blinded we are for not being able to see His Blessing showering down on us.

When I read the poem, I felt sadness, sadness because it reminds me of the state of the muslims, of humanity, how low we have sunk, and those who have realised the truth fully and when I mean fully I mean those who feel alone in this world, who no one understands, who’s unique relationship with Allah, is like that of a Lover to his Beloved, these type of people feel suffocated in darkness.

I really do like your style of writing. It leaves an impression behind...thank you
