The Contradiction of Existence
Friday, February 18, 2005
Flames burn in the rain from the sky,
Ice cracks in the corona of the sun.
Water flows in the volcano's anger,
Angels rest in the splitting of the earth.
Flowers bloom in the sands of the desert,
Plants flourish in the darkness of the night.
The blind man walks with conviction,
While the seeing man walks without real sight.
The glass in half full and yet it is half empty.
The stars shine but they are already gone.
Behold everyone, the contradiction of existence.
And ask yourself where you really came from.
